About Us

We began our preschool ministry in 1996.

Our preschool ministry is a non-profit ministry of our church. Our tuition costs are used to pay our staff and operating costs. Each year we have two Preschool Yard Sale Fundraisers to help us keep our equipment current and our tuition down.

Parents and Grandparents are encouraged to volunteer.

Families are an important part of our school environment. Parents are welcome and encouraged to visit any time. Each month we ask that a parent or family member volunteer during their child's half-hour recess time. If you don't feel comfortable on the playground, other volunteering opportunities include: assisting students in our computer lab, cutting out craft materials and helping us maintain our playground.

Our class sizes are small to encourage small group learning.

We design our classes to exceed the North Carolina standards. We have two teachers in each room to provide support and to break into smaller learning groups.

In our Two Year Old Class we have a maximum of ten students to two teachers.

In our Three Year Old Class we have a maximum of twelve students to two teachers. We also offer a six students to one teacher ratio for the 2010-2011 school year.

In our Four Year Old Class we have a maximum of fourteen students to two teachers.

We offer services to help our families.

From morning car-line to Afterschool Fun Play, we offer services to make life easier for our families. Each morning we offer car-line to make drop off easier. Morning drop-off is from 8:55 - 9:10 a.m. Afterschool Fun Play is offered on Monday's and Thursday's and is optional for all students. Your child can stay and have free play time until 12:40 pm.

"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." Proverbs 22:6

Our Mission

Grove Park Chapel Preschool is a ministry of Grove Park Chapel, a non-denominational Bible church. Through this ministry, we hope to provide support for our congregation as well as the surrounding community by promoting the spiritual, physical, social, and intellectual growth of it's children and their families.
