Our Two's class is taught by Ms. Phyllis, Ms. Kim and Ms. Jodi.

Phyllis has been on our staff since 2006. She is a volunteer in Grove Park Chapel's AWANA program and volunteers each year at VBS. She and her husband attend Grove Park Chapel and are always willing to give a helping hand. Phyllis is also a Lead Teacher.

Kim started at GPC Preschool in 2005 as a 3 yr old Teacher. She holds an Associates degree in Early Childhood. Her experience also includes raising 2 sons and 2 grandsons. She currently works as the Assistant Teacher on Tuesday and Thursday.

Jodi has always had a great passion for GPC Preschool ever since her daughter attended between 2003-2006. She has been a professional choreographer for 8 years and has worked with children in elementary, middle and high school. She also helps with nursery and Sunday School at her church. Jodie currently works as the Assistant Teacher on Monday and Wednesdays.

Our Three's class is taught by Ms. Debbie and Ms. Robin.

Debbie has been on our staff since 2006. She has worked at other preschools and early learning centers in the area and has many years of experience raising her own 3 wonderful children. Her missionary work includes heading to South Africa the past two summers to work at a local orphanage. Debbie currently is the Lead Teacher.

Robin has been on our staff since 2002 when she came on board as our two year old assistant. She has taught in each age group over the years and also served as Assistant Director. Robin is currently the Assistant Teacher.

Our Four's class is taught by Ms. Mamie and Ms. Denise.

Mamie has been on our staff since 2004. She holds a B.S. degree from the School of Education at North Carolina A&T. She has a special interest in working with special needs children and acting as a Child Advocate with Durham Public Schools. She joined the GPC Preschool staff in 2004 as the 2 yr old Teacher and started teaching the 4’s class in 2007. She currently is the Lead Teacher in our new 4 yr old class.

Denise joined our staff this year as the Assistant Teacher. Both of Denise's children have attended GPCP.

Contact Sandi Wheelis .

Sandi has a BS in Psychology from Virginia Tech and a MS in Criminal Justice from NCCU. She has worked as a Juvenile Counselor and as a Financial Analyst. Sandi has been involved with GPCP since 2004 when her kids starting attending the preschool. She is a member of Grove Park Chapel and currently oversees the church's Vacation Bible School.

Our substitutes.

It is our policy to use current staff members, previous staff members and parents as substitutes in our classes when the need arises. If you, as a parent, are interested in substituting please let our director know!

**All teachers and substitutes are required to submit to a background check yearly. Teachers are CPR and First-Aid certified.**
